BTB Bids has dedicated itself to connecting small business enterprises (SBE's) around the country with the best government bids, purchasing & procurement contracts, and small business leads available.

Our Small Business goal:

The value of the small business to the American economy CANNOT be understated! The various government agencies throughout the country recognize this fact by providing numerous municipal, school, and authority bid leads opportunities designed specifically to benefit these Small Business Enterprises (SBE's).

The problem is that most small businesses simply do not know: 1) how to properly register with their respective state authorities in order to qualify for these jobs, and 2) how to find out what jobs are available in their specific industries & in the geographic regions they cover.

BTBbids has been actively contacting state and private Small Business Enterprise organizations and programs in order to come up with an effective solution for getting these various set-aside bid job listings to the companies that can best use them. Many interesting ideas are being considered, including free bid reports, greatly reduced subscription prices (at near-cost), and even week or month-long trials, in order to get these businesses more involved in the state contract set-aside and local bid process.

Small Business Resources:

*SBA (Small Business Administration)

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small businesses. The SBA provides counseling on all phases of small business including planning, formation, registration, financing, marketing, and day-to-day operation.
Small business financing has been a staple offering of the SBA... helping small businesses become qualified, finding the best lenders, and walking owners through the loan / financing process has resulted in incredible results... from 1991-2000, the Small Business Administration helped almost 435,000 small businesses get more than $94.6 billion in loans.

*SBDC (Small Business Development Center)

The US SBDC network states its mission as to "help new entrepreneurs realize their dream of business ownership, and assist existing businesses to remain competitive in the complex marketplace of an ever-changing global economy."
The SBDC operates through leading universities, colleges and state economic development agencies, and is funded in part through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. There are approximately 1,000 service centers across the country which provide no-cost consulting and low-cost training to small business entrepreneurs.

*SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business"

SCORE is a "nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs in the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide". SCORE is full of countless successful working and retired business owners and executives who share their personal experiences and guide small business owners to greater success in an extremely competitive business environment.
There are 389 chapters and approximately 10,500 SCORE volunteers nationwide offering free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs.

Small Business Set-Aside bidding manual:

To simplify the bidding process for companies, BTBbids is also preparing a Small Business (SBE) Set-Aside Bidding Manual. This internet E-manual will include detailed, step-by-step information on everything from getting your business properly registered with your home state, registering for SBE status, how to properly prepare a bid package, and strategies on how to be a successful bidder. We’ve been in touch with some of the brightest minds in the bid contracting industry, and expect to come up with an invaluable tool for bidders.
